Clio's Making History Archive uses electronic media to collect, preserve, and present materials relating to selected select historical events and movements from the last half of the 20th century. Digital resource include videos, interviews, photographs and slides, and other primary sources.
The first project of Clio’s Making History Archive is to film digital video interviews with key participants in the Anita Hill segment of the Clarence Thomas Supreme Court nomination hearings, as well as journalists, scholars or writers, or others who have examined the proceedings. These interviews will serve multiple purposes: first, as archival resources for future historians, teachers, students, filmmakers or journalists; second, as research and footage for a documentary film; third, as classroom materials for studies in race, politics, media, gender or American history.
