American Memory Fellows Program

Clio served as an historical consultant for this educator's online institute, developed with the Center for Children and Technology as part of the Library of Congress's National Digital Library. The fellowship program features summer workshops to bring together teachers, librarians, and multi-media experts to design curriculum that uses the Library of Congress archival collections which reside on their American Memory web site. During the school year, the fellowship continues to function as a virtual community via the web as a way to share the results of using these primary sources in their classrooms. Barnard Electronic Archive and Teaching Laboratory (BEATL)

Clio served as a curricular and technical advisors to the Barnard Electronic Archive and Teaching Laboratory (BEATL). This project was the recipient of a major Mellon Foundation curricular development grant for new media approaches to teaching American Studies. Client: Barnard College (New York, NY)

New York: The Building of an American City

In collaboration with a consortium of organizations, including the New York Historical Society and the Museum of the City of New York, Clio developed a traveling exhibit on the history of New York City. Clio also served as the Project Director for New York History Year, a series of educational and outreach projects celebrating the history of this vital city.
